Pre-Treatment

SMP is cosmetic tattooing (hair tattooing) that offers a solution to hair loss by replicating hair follicles that are about to grow giving the impression of a shaved look. SMP can treat anywhere on the scalp that is losing hair or even complete baldness of the scalp.

The treatment is perfectly safe, we dispose of all needles after each treatment and the equipment is cleaned after every client.
Results are permanent but touch ups are needed every 1-3 years, depending on lifestyle and immune system it can be longer before a touch up is required.
If your treatment is affected by COVID-19 guidelines, we will reschedule your appointment to a future date.

Treatment

The treatment will be done over three visits, each visit will depend on the treatment you are having. Visit one will take between 2 and 5 hours, then a 10 day gap before visit two which will again take around 2 to 5 hours, then we recommend a 4 week gap before the final visit which will take approximately 2 to 4 hours.
In the first session we won’t go too dark and we will see how the colour has settled, at the second and third sessions we can add more colour if required to get the perfect colour match.
The choice here is yours, you can have natural, sharp defined, or a bit of both, the design will be entirely your decision – we draw this on first so you can try a few different styles, there’s no rush!

Aftercare

Each person is different and redness can last anything from 1-4 days.
You must not go to the gym or train at all for the first 4 days after treatment, this is essential in ensuring your treatment works to it’s full potential. After 4 days you can go to the gym or train but only light training, you must not sweat excessively for at least 10 days.
You should avoid washing or shaving the head for the first 4 days after treatment, and to not fully submerge the head in water or under a running shower for at least 10 days. It is recommended to lightly wipe over the head using a damp flannel at this time.

Payment/Deposit Queries

Here at MicroMagic we are able to work around our clients, we are available weekends, evenings, and early mornings.
A £100 deposit will be required to secure your booking, this is non-refundable. The remainder will be equally split into three, which you will pay at each session.
